Can you believe Christmas 2024 is here?
Don’t you love Christmas? I enjoyed it even more when I had a husband who gave me his support. The first year we were married, we celebrated Christmas in a little house in Bartlesville.
I bought Gary insulated coveralls, and he bought me a rocking chair. I still have that chair. 🙂
I’m so glad I have a couple of sons who gave me grandchildren. Children and Christmas just go together! Their wives are so sweet! I couldn’t have chosen better women for my boys if I’d been given the job.
I’ve loved the holiday since I was just a little girl. (Hasn’t everyone?) Each year at church we’d have a play or a candlelight service.
We were taught Mary was a virgin before we knew what a virgin was!
Celebrating Jesus’s birthday is beautiful but not as wonderful as I’ve always imagined it must be in Heaven. The Son of the King! The angels sing like they did on the night of his birth. Such a beautiful time!
BTW: I saw a great movie recently. It’s a cartoon movie that’s rated for children, but it is so good!
It’s called “THE STAR” and is about Jesus’s birth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NjvYZtwk00 Check it out. I think you’ll love it, too!
I tried to watch a few other movies about His birth, but they deviated so far from the actual way He was born that I just couldn’t watch them.
So, Santa is coming tonight.
Don’t you love knowing that Santa worships the King, too?
