Are you like me? Do you like new things? New babies, new cars, new houses, new days and new years?
Of course, I like old things, too. Like antiques, and people (like me) and friendships.
So we’re beginning a new year. The year two-thousand- twenty-one. It’s a big number written out like that, isn’t it?
So what does a new year mean to you? For me, it means goal setting. I’m great at setting goals, but keeping them is another story.
I found a blog with some wise words. You might want to check it out: https://www.inc.com/jeff-haden/an-nearly-foolproof-way-to-achieve-every-goal-you-set-wed.html
Or if you don’t have time to read it, you might listen to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqG4Hov7eL4
They both made sense to me.
I haven’t set my goals yet, but I know I want to get back in the groove. I want to start writing again. (I punked out around the time my hubby got really sick, and now I’m moving, so it’ll take a while to get back to it.
So how about you? Are you a goal setter and achiever?
And if you are, what are your goals areas? Are there certain areas where you set goals? Work? Health? Spirituality? Hobbies? Finances? Books to read? (or write?)
Here’s one last blog I’m going to link to. It looks like it’s from 2020, but some of it is really exciting, if filling out worksheets excites you like it does me. https://parade.com/993372/marynliles/goal-setting-worksheet/
Check it out, and tell me what you think.
I really wanna talk about it. 😀
HAPPY NEW YEA . . . !
