See that picture of my house? I’m not there anymore. I’ve moved into C-Town, also known as Cleveland, Oklahoma, the capitol of Keystone Lake.
I’m not completely moved yet. I’m not unpacked yet. And yes, I’m a procrastinator.
I had some really nice guys from Two Men and a Truck who moved me. I was surprised they could do all they did in just one day. It would have taken me three years and six months. It might take that long for me to get unpacked.
So here’s a tour of my unpacked and not yet decorated house.
This is in the kitchen. Sister Lisa sent me the sign. I have the best family! Our mama made the world’s BEST biscuits and gravy! And yes, we loved them!
My middle son and his wife helped me unpack the kitchen. They’re so good to me! They even brought their son and let me play with him. He’s adorable!
All my grandkids are!
This is the kitchen. Can you read the sign over the sink? It’s at the beginning of my book. Micah 6:8–What does the Lord requite of you . . . ?
Here’s my office where I’m sitting right now. You don’t want to see the jumble of boxes behind me. It’s scary!
Living room.
That’s not the entire house, but it’s enough. Maybe when I get some quilts and pictures hung and boxes unpacked, I’ll invite you back again.
So, let me know what you’ve been up to. I need the entertainment. 😀
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Number 6: 24-26.
I hate to move too but it’s always worth it when God leads us to do so!
Good luck and God’s blessings in your new home.
I love that biscuit table/shelf!

Thank you, Pamela. You’re a sweetheart!
It’s fun and interesting seeing your new place. I wish you many happy times and blessings there.
Thank you, Gail!
I love your new place! Is that a brick wall in your office? I love it! The high ceiling in the living room and the kitchen is darling with the blue walls! Enjoy!
Thanks, Gaye! Yes, that’s my office. Glad you like the place. Come see me sometime. It’s been too long!
I’m going to be in the same situation as you in a month. God bless you and your new home. Take care.
Where are you going Jacalyn? Still going to be around the Ford or are you venturing to new places?
Hope you find a place you enjoy as much as I’m enjoying this one!
Love your tour…it does take a while to unpack…so many decisions!
Not only that, I have to rest my back after a few hours of work. That ice angel I made is still giving me trouble. 🙂
Love you!
What a lovely home! Thanks for sharing. The paint colors are beautiful. I hope you’re very happy there. I hate moving – maybe that’s why we’ve been in our house for 19 years. Hoping for at least that many more!
Thank you, Karen! The colors were here when I bought the house, but they might be part of the reason I bought it. 😀
I was in the other house for 20 plus years. Oy! Grandma told me I should move every five years to keep everything cleaned out. I don’t plan to do that, but she knew what she was talking about!
Thanks for coming by.

Susan, Congratulations on your move. I love the sign with the quote from Micah. May this new house be a place filled with love and blessings for you.
I bought that sign when I started JORDAN VALLEY MISS. I thought I might have a drawing and give it away at a signing, but since signings aren’t possible yet, it’s keeping me company.
Thanks for dropping by, Carol. I enjoy knowing you!
Wow, I like it! I think my sons moved every year in college. I was tired of being the moving company. I hope you make many happy memories here.
Thank you, Barbara. I plan to make as many happy memories as possible! Getting to know other writers like you is part of that plan.
Thanks again!
Susan
Showers of grace and blessings in your new home. It’s lovely.
Thanks, KM! I appreciate the blessings!
